Monday’s General Meeting: Monday November 5th we’ll have a fish bowl available to drop your card in, we’ll draw a winner who will be able to write an article about their business that will be posted to the website, Facebook, published in next month’s newsletter and included in this e-mail. It’s great way for you to tell us more about your business, the industry, events, changes, specials etc.

Up Coming Events: On November 10th Chamber Member Butte Creek Mill will be hosting the 3rd Annual “Gobble till you Wobble.” The Material Girls will be hosting aquilt show on November 3rd, and the Eagle Point Upper Rogue Chamber –Avenue of the Flags will be honoring our Veteran’s with a Veteran’s Day Event November 11th. Theater: Eagle Point High School Theatre Department proudly presents the Emmy Award-Winning Drama, “Twelve Angry Jurors,” written by Reginald Rose.
This is a stage adaptation of the original film “Twelve Angry Men” starring Henry Fonda.
This courtroom drama takes place in the jury room after a 19 year-old boy fatally stabs his father.
The twelve jury members must come to a unanimous decision about the fate of this boy.
It looks like an open-and-shut case – until one of the jurors begins opening the others’ eyes to the facts.
Tempers get short, arguments grow heated, and these people become 12 Angry Jurors. 12 Angry Men.
Dates: Nov. 9, 10, 15, 16, 17 at 7 PM Tickets are $10 General $8 Seniors $5 Students.
D9 Dessert Fundraiser: All community members and supporters of our Eagle Point students are invited to the D9 Scholarship Dessert to be held Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at the Eagle Point High School Cafeteria. This event raises money for scholarships for graduating seniors. For the event, become a hostess and reserve a table and invite some of your friends. Bring a dessert, table decorations and table settings. Drinks are provided. Amy Blaser, a former Eagle Point High School student , and now an IRS agent will be the speaker, entertainment will be the jazz band “Living On Dreams” lead by Kent Heyward.
Christmas Tree Lighting: The Eagle Point Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony by the Eagle Point Community Association has been announced for December 7th at 7 pm. Stuffed animals are needed for the festivities at the Ashpole Center! Any clean, soft, gently used animals will be gratefully accepted. And you can contact Bunny Lincoln at 541-944-2446.

Local’s Un-Wined: Chamber Member Agate Ridge Vineyards hosts Local’s Un-Wined every Friday night in November. From 5p-8p Live Music, Local Artisan Food, No Cover Charge and Glass Specials. At Agate Ridge you will find them carrying ‘local’ products from Chamber Members Cakery Kisses and the Butcher Shop along with other Upper Rogue Favorites.
