As the leaves turn and the air cools, our community is buzzing with excitement and festive spirit. Here are some of the wonderful events and opportunities happening around town this season!
Fire District 3 Open House – October 11th
Don’t miss out on Fire District 3’s Open House happening Friday, October 11th, from 11 AM – 2 PM at the Eagle Point Fire Station!
Families and community members are invited to explore the station, meet local firefighters, and enjoy fun activities—including a coloring contest for kids. It’s a great opportunity to learn and connect with those who keep our community safe.
Annual Downtown Hoedown – October 25th
Get ready for some hometown fun at the Annual Downtown Hoedown on October 25 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Main Street in Eagle Point! This family-friendly event brings the community together for an evening packed with excitement—delicious food, trunk-or-treats, games, live music, a DJ, and plenty more to enjoy. Come join the fun, connect with neighbors, and celebrate the season Eagle Point style!
Handcrafted Holiday Ornaments – Available November 1st
Starting November 1, stop by the Butte Creek Mill to pick up one of this year’s beautiful holiday ornaments, handcrafted by Ryese, a talented EPHS Engineering student.
Each ornament is a unique design, lovingly created to help raise funds for D9 Student Scholarships. Quantities are limited—so be sure to stop by early and get yours! The Butte Creek Mill will also be offering Holiday Gift baskets and tasty treats for the season.
Tree Lighting Ceremony – December 5th
Mark your calendars for Thursday, December 5th, from 6 PM – 8 PM!
Join us downtown for the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, a beloved community tradition that brings families and neighbors together for a night of joy and celebration. Enjoy lights, laughter, and a visit from Santa Claus himself!
Christmas Window Painting on Main Street
Keep an eye out for some extra sparkle on Main Street this season!
EPHS art students, in partnership with the Eagle Point & Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce, will be adding Christmas-themed window paintings to participating local businesses. This event is part of our Youth Connections Committee. We encourage you to take a stroll downtown to see their creativity and festive spirit in action!
