Abby’s Pizza Fundraiser for Rogue Food Unites

Abby’s Legendary Pizza in Eagle Point is dishing up a fundraiser to support Rogue Food Unites (RFU) on Thursday, June 25th. A portion of the day’s total sales will be donated to RFU to support our work to build a resilient local food system. Stop by to enjoy some delicious pizza and say hello to the RFU team starting at 3 pm. We hope to see you there!

Rogue Food Unites® (RFU) uses food to heal individuals and communities during times of crisis.

Formed in 2020 out of the dual disasters of the Labor Day Fires and the impacts of COVID-19 on local communities in Jackson County, RFU served over 1.6 million meals to fire-affected communities from September 2020 through June 2023.

As fire affected individuals’ needs changed and they moved throughout Jackson
County, RFU’s service model changed to meet the new circumstances facing them. This
resulted in the creation of the Neighbors Unite No Cost Farmer’s Market in
October 2022. This mobile farmers market is open three times per week and creates reliable, free-of-charge access to organic produce, meat, eggs and beans. RFU does not restrict participation based on paperwork or perceived need. RFU also prioritizes procurement from local and regional producers. This commitment to purchase local produce builds community resilience by reinvesting in local food producers.
