We look forward to Independence Day with great anticipation every year. On this special day, we come together as a community to celebrate our country’s independence and to show our patriotic pride. The streets are filled with people from all around the region, who gather to be part of the lively atmosphere and remark on how the community’s spirit still shines brightly today.
Independence Day in Eagle Point, Oregon, is more than just a day of fun and fireworks. It is a day for us to come together as a community and celebrate our country’s history and values. It is an opportunity to reflect on the hard work and sacrifice that went into building the United States of America and to strengthen the bonds that make our community so great.
We’re looking for dedicated volunteers to help make the Eagle Point Independence Day celebration successful! We need help both in the days leading up to the event and on the day itself. Join us in creating an unforgettable celebration for our community!

The Parade & Street Fair
The parade, which takes place on Main Street, is always a highlight of the day. Spectators line the streets, sitting several rows deep, to watch the floats, marching bands, classic cars, and community groups as they make their way through town, all decked out in red, white, and blue. The parade is a perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy the festivities.
Main Street becomes a street fair with food vendors, games, and music. The atmosphere is vibrant and lively, with children playing and the smell of delicious food filling the air. The main stage hosts live music performances that we can all enjoy, adding to the day's festive spirit.
Firework Show!
As night falls, we all go to the high school for the fireworks display. The stadium is filled with people eagerly anticipating the spectacular show. As the fireworks light up the sky, we cheer and applaud, feeling a sense of pride and joy for being part of such a fantastic community.
