The Guest Speaker in February will be Jack Vitacco Director of the Southern Oregon Small Business Development Center (SBDC), a part of SOU. The SBDC is there SPECIFICALLY to help out small businesses. They have the knowledge and the resources to work with small business owners (or want to be owners) to get you on track. From business evaluations, to writing business plans, to assisting with the paperwork for obtaining financing and a whole lot more. Most if not ALL of it is entirely FREE to the Business!
Jack has worked directly with small business owners his entire professional career. As an account representative for 3M Corp. for 20 years, and as an independent manufacturers’ representative for 12 years, Jack assisted wholesale distribution businesses to increase market share, develop sales personnel, implement effective product knowledge and presentation skills, and management of profit. Areas of expertise include business start-up, marketing, sales, distribution, and strategic planning. Jack earned a Master in Management degree from Southern Oregon University.
