Welcome to UR Summer!
The season of long warm days, outdoor adventures, and backyard barbecues is now underway in the communities of the Upper Rogue. We live, work, and play in a land of tremendous beauty, experiences, and amazing businesses dedicated to serving.
The start of our summer’s adventure is the 4th of July. Celebrating our country’s Independence is truly a unique Upper Rogue adventure, to be experienced in several of our communities. From Eagle Point on July 4th and continuing to Butte Falls on July 6th, Independence Day is celebrated on our Main Streets, through fireworks, at neighborhood block parties, and in our backyards.
Continuing on our summer adventure, make sure to enjoy our region’s rivers, creeks, lakes, and outdoor playgrounds. The Upper Rogue is famous for outdoor adventures, whether it be rafting, boating, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, RVing/camping, or golfing. Numerous businesses in our communities are ready to support you on these adventures.
Lastly, our region has countless community groups and organizations to enhance your summer adventure. From experiencing our region’s history at landmarks like the Butte Creek Mill and Prospect Hotel to community programs like the Avenue of the Flags put on by Eagle Point/Upper Rogue Community Foundation. The Upper Rogue is rich with experiences and businesses to enhance those experiences.
