Greetings from the Eagle Point & Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce.

Winter has arrived, and with it lots of Holiday events and winter fun. Fun, if you like cold and foggy weather.

But there are fun events and activities to enjoy.

The Chamber and Community Association will host the annual Eagle Point Christmas Tree lighting at 6:30PM December 5th in Bob Moore Park. Following the tree lighting Santa will be in residence in the Ashpole Center at City Hall for pictures, candy and stuffed animals for all good children. The Lions Club will be participating with their chili feed.

We are very grateful for the wonderful volunteer assistance and support received from local individuals and companies for the new Christmas tree lights, and the labor to hang them on the big 100ft. sequoia tree in Bob Moore Park. Thank you, Tim Wyatt, at Skycrest Development, Tate Dunn at Table Rock Tree care, Dakota Stout at Wildwood Tree care, Cody at Rogue Prowash, and the wonderful crew from Pacific Power.

By the time you read this letter we hope to have business windows on main street Eagle Point painted with holiday themes courtesy of the Chamber and the Eagle Point High School Art Club. Please give us your vote for your favorite window.

Our Eagle Point Police Department is seeking donations for their annual Shop with a Cop initiative. Donations can be dropped off at City Hall.

Banner Bank will be hosting the monthly Chamber After Hours mixer at their Eagle Point location on Thursday evening December 16 at 5:00-7:00 PM. Please check out our web site for updates and all the news and local events. https://eaglepointchamber.org/

And don’t miss our monthly Board meeting and member lunches on the first Monday of each month at noon at the Ashpole Center at City Hall.
