February is a month full of festivities in Eagle Point and the Upper Rogue! Along with the exciting activities hosted by local businesses, social and civic groups are also bringing the fun!

The D9 Foundation will be hosting its Annual Scholarship Dessert on February 4th from 6:00 to 8:30 PM at the EPHS Cafeteria. All funds raised will go toward scholarships for School District 9 graduating seniors. The tables will be creatively decorated, and each table hostess will provide a delicious dessert for guests. The event will also feature a short program, including a performance by the Eagle Point High School Jazz Band. Don’t miss this special community event!

The Eagle Point Women’s Club will also be hosting a luncheon at the Rogue Valley Country Club on February 19th. A digital specialist from Jackson County Library Services will give a presentation on “Personal Cybersecurity,” covering topics like how to avoid scams and protect personal and financial information online. There will be plenty of time for questions, too!

Since the Winter Solstice on December 21st, the days have been getting longer. The length of day is increasing by about 2 minutes a day, and by February 20th, that will speed up to 3 minutes a day! Soon, we’ll all be out preparing our gardens and getting ready for summer fun.

Your Eagle Point and Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce has started planning for the July 4, 2025 event—Let Freedom Ring in the Neighborhood—and is currently seeking sponsors. Sponsorships are due by May 15 to ensure marketing materials are complete.
