The second is the Business/Organization Drawing! Need a new website for your business or organization? May is Oregon Wine Month: As if we needed a reason… The local wineries are celebrating all month long. Make sure to visit chamber members Agate Ridge Vineyard and Crater Lake Cellars and celebrate their new releases this month. Agate Ridge along with LaBrasseur Vineyard and Cliff Creek will be pouring at the Vintage Faire.

Saturday May 11th: A HUGE day in the Upper Rogue.

It starts with the Buckaroo Breakfast A benefit the FFA. The breakfast will be from 7:00 am to 10:30 am at Ray’s with a $5 donation. The FFA Plant Sale will be going on Thursday-Saturday 6a-6p at Eagle Point High School. So start your Saturday by grabbing a buckaroo breakfast, a little plant shopping then hop on the trolley to the Vintage Faire.

We need volunteers to help the day of. Looking for one hour or two hour shifts. Please if you can lend a hand. e-mail Ann Grossman aeg46@charter.net and say count me in and let her know what hour(s) you can help between Noon and 4 pm.

Mother’s Day: Upper Rogue business’ have you covered for Mother’s Day… For dining out The Prospect Historic Hotel and Dinner House and Rogue River Lodge are offering wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner menu’s. For those that like to show their love through their own cooking, The Butcher Shop has an array of local products that will make you the star in the kitchen on Mother’s Day!

To add a little sweetness to Mom’s Special Day: By picking up some Cakery Kisses, and the best part is Mom will probably even share, they’re good that way :). Looking for that something special, stop by Essentials, your mom will thank you. School Board Candidate Forum: The Eagle Point Senior Community Center and the Eagle Point Women’s Club will be hosting a Candidate Forum on Monday May 13th at 6 pm for those running for the D9 School Board. The forum will take place at the Ashpole Center, refreshments will be provided, and all the candidates have been invited.

Thank you all for attending yesterday’s meeting at Alpacas at Lone Ranch, and thank you Richard and Renate for having us. A great turnout, gorgeous day and beautiful venue. I’d also like to thank our guest speakers, Anne Jenkins and Tammi Mendels from Travel and Visit Medford. Next time you’re visiting Harry and David make sure to stop in to the Visitors Information Center and say hi to Tammi.

It’s a great couple of weeks for our community, our businesses and our Chamber to SHINE! The more people that chip in the SHINIER it’s going to look and feel!
