Your Organization is on Facebook. Now What?

You’ve launched a Facebook page for your organization. Now what? Learn about resources and best practices for managing a successful Facebook page for your organization during “Your Organization on Facebook: Profile, Post, and Promote” on Monday, May 20, from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m., in the Adams Community Meeting Room of the Medford Branch Library, 205 South Central Avenue.

Once your organization’s Facebook page was established, you thought you were done. But did you know Facebook is not just a marketing tool, but a way to manage relationships? Learn how to maximize your social credit with a page that provides valuable content for your clients.

Presenters Carrie Prechtel and Michelle Blum Atkinson will demonstrate how to build your audience and keep them engaged. Ms. Prechtel is the Community Outreach Specialist for Jackson County Library Services and has managed their Facebook page for three years. Ms. Blum Atkinson was the Social Media Coordinator for Procare Software and worked with EngineWorks as a contributor to the Facebook pages of Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), Home Depot, and the City of Bothell.

Refreshments will be provided, courtesy of the Friends of the Medford Library. For more information, please contact Jackson County Library Services at 541-774-6407 or visit www.jcls.org.
