This 24th Annual event happens on Saturday July 20th and Sunday July 21st, 2013. Private Pilots from all over meet at the Prospect Airport; also know as the Eugene F. Burrill Memorial Airport. They start “Flying In” on Friday night.
The proceeds from this benefit the Prospect unit of Jackson County SEARCH AND RESCUE.
We all want them to be ready should we need them!
There is a BBQ Dinner on Saturday night of Steak and Chicken at 17:30 hours. Following this is a Huge Raffle!
Sunday at 07:00 hours there will be a BREAKFAST of Pancakes, eggs, sausage and hash browns.
Come check out the planes, meet the pilots and enter the raffle – all the while supporting those Volunteers that get out of their warm cozy bed in the middle of the night, in a torrential storm, to help some poor lost soul. Would YOU DO it? Join Search and Rescue!
In the mean time – Support them! Make sure they have the gear and the equipment they need. Who knows, Next time it might be YOU that needs there help! HELP THEM NOW!
