May General Meeting:   Our next general meeting is Monday May 6th and will be held at, Alpacas at Lone Ranch.  Guest speakers include Anne Jenkins from Travel Medford and Tammi Mendels who is the Manager of the Visitor Center in Medford. With tourist season upon us this is a great time to hear from Anne and Tammi as well as them to hear from us. Let’s show Medford what we’ve got with a HUGE turnout on Monday.

Saturday May 11th: A HUGE day in the Upper Rogue.

It starts with the  Buckaroo Breakfast that benefits the FFA. Start your day at rays with a pancake feed from the FFA. The breakfast will be from 7:00 am to 10:30 am and costs just $5. Then grab the trolley to Royal Ave for the Vintage Faire. We’ve obtained great exposure outside the upper rogue to bring hundreds of people to our community which should make this by far the biggest and best Vintage Faire EVER!

We need volunteers to help the day of. Looking for one hour or two hour shifts. Please if you can lend a hand. e-mail Ann Grossman aeg46@charter.net and say count me in and let her know what hour(s) you can help between 10 am and 4 pm.

School Board Candidate Forum: The Eagle Point Senior Community Center and the Eagle Point Women’s Club will be hosting a Candidate Forum on Monday May 13th at 6 pm for those running for the D9 School Board. The forum will take place at the Ashpole Center, refreshments will be provided, and all the candidates have been invited.

The Circus is coming in May and we’re on the cusp of tourist season. If you’re not excited, you should be!

It’s a great couple of weeks for our community, our businesses and our Chamber to SHINE! The more people that chip in the SHINIER it’s going to look and feel!
