Greetings from the Eagle Point & Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce. And welcome to May.

Spring has arrived, and our Valley looks beautiful. Spring always blossoms with new and interesting things. Along with the new flowers we have some new businesses to enjoy. The Crater Lake Coffee and Food Truck Park on Hwy.62 in Eagle Point has added a pizza, a hamburger, and a Sushi Food truck. I know, I said the same thing; a sushi food truck? But it is actually quite good, as are the other truck offerings.

The City of Eagle Point City Council has selected a new prospective developer and design for the Old Fire Station property on main street. Stay tuned for further developments on this. I think it’s going to look great and revitalize main street Eagle Point.

There are always fun events and activities to enjoy. On May 12 Fire Dist.4 will host an open house from noon to 7:00 PM at the Fire Station in Shady Cove. And on Saturday June 6th , the city of Shady Cove will hold their annual city-wide Garage Sale. The city of Shady Cove is also currently accepting applications for a new City Manager.

Back in Eagle Point, The Chamber is actively engaged in organizing the 2026 Fourth of July celebration in Eagle Point. This will be our Nations 250th birthday and we are planning big things. Please visit our web site at https://eaglepointchamber.org. to sign up for the morning Fun Run, to be a Vendor, to participate in the Parade, to volunteer, and or to be a Sponsor. The Chamber will also be hosting the annual Easter Egg Hunt; the Main Street Christmas Tree Lighting and Santa visit as well as the October Downtown Hoedown Trunk or Treat event.

If you have new, or very gently used stuffed animals, the Chamber is collecting those donations in support of our Christmas and Easter children’s programs. Just contact us at info@eaglepointchamber.org and we will arrange a pickup. Keep watching on our web site for further event and business updates.

And don’t miss our monthly Board meeting and member lunches on the first Monday of each month at noon at the Ashpole Center at City Hall.

If you have a new business, The chamber would like to assist with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony, just give us a call or email.

Wishing you a Very Happy and enjoyable Spring; just keep those allergy meds close at hand.

Sincerely,

Jay O’Neil  V.P.
