Greetings from The Eagle Point and Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce

The weather is warming up and everyone is getting excited about getting outdoors more and enjoying everything the Rogue Valley has to offer. Chamber committees are actively working on plans for the Vintage Fair on May 20 and the 4th of July celebration with a Fun Run, downtown vendors, a main street parade, and evening fireworks. The Community Association is getting things organized for the April 8th Easter Egg Hunt. Please see our web site for additional details.

The Chamber will soon have a new Tourist map to distribute to area businesses and roadside stops in the Valley. And the Chamber web site is updating and improving their listings of local activities. So, get out and enjoy our local businesses, wineries, restaurants, and outdoor activities. I’m getting ready for Spring and supporting local businesses today by getting a mocha at the main street coffee house and then trying a new local barber; so, when you see me next you are welcome to offer your opinion of the cut. Yesterday I filled up my car, and my wife vehicle, at the Eagles Market. All I need now is some local wine, and getting my wife’s approval of my new haircut; probably in that order.

If you have ideas for new fun events for our community, or wish to volunteer for a Chamber committee, please contact the Chamber. We are always looking for members and good helpers.

Come join us.

Regards,

Jay O’Neil
