Independence Day Parade Entry

Entry Deadline – Friday, July 1st, 2016
THEME: “A Salute to Our Veteran’s”

  • Donations gratefully accepted. Please make checks payable to: Eagle Point Chamber of Commerce.
  • Parade organizes at Eagle Point High School.  All entries (except cars) judged according to theme compliance.
  • Car entries judged under commonly accepted guidelines.
  • Judging will take place during the parade route and winner will be announced at the stadium prior to the fireworks show.
  • Absolutely NO candy or water may be shot or “thrown” into the crowd from any parade entry! Persons/groups violating these rules will be removed from the parade.
  • Children in parade MUST be accompanied by adult (18 years or over)
  • No walking dogs unless wearing “booties”. Dogs may ride on/in parade vehicles. Dogs must be good natured and in complete control at all times.
  • All animals or livestock must be pre-approved prior to being allowed in the parade.

In consideration of this entry, I/we, for any/all heirs, executors, administrators and assigns waive, release and discharge any/all rights and claims or damages against Eagle Point & Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce and all other sponsors. I/we attest and verify to full knowledge of any potential risks involved in this parade, and will assume all medical and emergency expenses in the event of an accident, illness or other incapacities, regardless of whether such expenses have been authorized. I/we are sufficiently knowledgeable about this entry to participate in the parade.
I Agree to the Parade Rules*
1. No throwing candy from a vehicle. Walkers handing out candy are allowed.
2. Keep proper spacing and do not allow big gaps between parade groups. (We cannot have citizens running between parade vehicles.)
3. When approaching the review stand, band and performing teams need to continue moving and not stop.
4. Parade participants need to sign in at the Eagle Point High School parking lot Starting Point by 0930.
