April General Meeting Goes On The Road:  Our next chamber meeting is Monday April 1st, 12 noon to 1 pm at Dogs For The Deaf, located at 1075 Wheeler Road, Central Point Or, off Hwy 234 in Sams Valley.  Dogs for Deaf invites you to stay a few minutes after the meeting for a special Tour of their facilities. So plan on staying an extra 15 to 20 minutes, it will be worth it.

Our Guest Speaker at the April General Meeting is HR Expert and Consultant Fred Holloway. Fred has over 30 years of HR and management expertise and has held a variety of management positions throughout his career in organizations ranging from start-ups to serving several years on the executive management team of a Fortune 500 division as Vice President of Human Resources for Global Operations. He coaches management teams and has served as Interim CEO for clients in transition and has consulted with and provided management guidance and solutions for over 80 companies since starting his consultancy in 2002.  Have HR Questions? After Hours Social: Our first after hours mixer was a HUGE success, I want to thank everyone who attended.  This is going to be a great networking platform for the Upper Rogue. Thank you Arthur’s for extending your hours and allowing us to enjoy a great night of good company, good friends and great networking!

The next after hours social mixer will take place at the Historic Prospect Inn and Dinner House on Thursday May 2nd. We are going to be renting a ‘Party Bus’ to take us up and back. The bus will seat 25 people, wine and beer will be served up and back cost is just $10 a person. This is great opportunity to support the Upper part of the Upper Rogue, so let’s do it!
