Good Friends Social Mixer:  Join us tonight at Agate Ridge Vineyard from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm for a Community Social Mixer. We’ll have some food provided by The Butcher Shop, wine tastings done by the amazing Sharyyl. You can also purchase wine by the bottle and glass. It’s a great opportunity to share company with business owners, community groups and organizations that in our busy lives don’t always have the time to talk more with. Grab a friend and swing by after work and say Hi!

24th Annual Prospect Fly In:   This 24th Annual event happens on Saturday July 20th and Sunday July 21st, 2013. Private Pilots from all over meet at the Prospect Airport; also know as the Eugene F. Burrill Memorial Airport. They start “Flying In” on Friday night. The proceeds from this benefit the Prospect unit of Jackson County SEARCH AND RESCUE.
We all want them to be ready should we need them! More information can be found on our community calendar.

Music at the Mill:   Saturday August 24th is Music at the Mill, a fundraiser for the Upper Rogue Libraries. Tickets are now available for just $25 at The Butte Creek Mill, Prospect Store, Chickadees and KUKAZ KUTZ. Our libraries need our support NOW more than ever. For more information click here:

Upcoming General Meetings:   

We’re looking for a host for August. If you would like to be ‘The Star’ of our August general meeting contact mike at eaglepointupperrogue@gmail.com

September’s Meeting:   Will be hosted by, and located at Fire District #3 in White City. This meeting will be held Monday Sept. 9th and promises to be one of the BEST. Chamber business will be short that day so we can all enjoy a tour of the facilities.

October’s Meeting:   Will be at Washington Federal (Formally South Valley Bank). Sara will be there to talk about the transition and all the good things going on at Washington Federal.

Membership Drive: We currently have a record 112 Members! We are looking to grow that number even MORE. July through October we will begin our Membership drive, and the business that is responsible for bringing in the most NEW members will receive a FREE 2014 members ship to the Eagle Point Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce. A ‘new’ member is a business that has not been a member of the Eagle Point Upper Rogue Chamber for at least 2 years.

Create NEW Habits:   Look to create new shopping habits. Take the time to stop in and support our wonderful local brick and mortar businesses. It shouldn’t be a contest of how much you can buy at one store, but look at taking a few extra minutes to shop at the specialty shops in the Upper Rogue… Not only do you help boost the local economy, but you get a bigger smile at the Upper Rogue Businesses. 🙂
